ATA Taekwondo – Salem
ATA stands for the American Taekwondo Association which is dedicated to the martial arts discipline of Taekwondo. It is also the founding organization of other international affiliates including World Traditional Taekwondo Union and the Songham Taekwondo Federation. These organizations have over 1500 independently owned and operated licensed schools with over one million students world wide.
Having been established in 1969 by Grand Master Haeng Ung Lee, ATA Taekwondo organization has established standards that would ensure consistent Taekwondo training instruction.
The ATA standards are highly respected in the area of Taekwondo training. Being an ATA Taekwondo certified instructor and school means that the martial arts school and instructors are recognized by the ATA to meet the high standards required by the association.
Salem TaeKwondo Training Classes
At Karate for Kids of Salem, our classes are taught by Jerry and Theresa von Phul, both which are nationally certified with ATA and 4th degree black belts. We offer Salem Taekwondo training classes for all ages starting from 4 years old to adult.
